Review: Erin Baker's Blue Bike Sprouted Snacks
The first thing I look at when I pick up a new snack is the ingredients list. Is it all food, are these things I could buy at the grocery store? So when Erin Baker’s sent over some of their new Blue Bike Sprouted Snacks for me to review, that’s the first thing I did. I flipped the bags over and was greeted with nice short ingredient lists filled with only real food. Good start.
There were four flavors of Blue Bike Sprouted Snacks for me to review, Sea Salt, Sriracha, Dark Chocolate and Peppercorn.
Sea Salt had a nice balance of the sweet and salty. It was the “potato chip” replacement of the group. Went with just about anything and was a well-balanced snack.
Sriracha was my personal favorite. I like spicy food and I put sriracha on just about everything already. I could smell the Sriracha as soon as I opened the bag. It was spicy but not overly so and was the perfect snack to go along with an Incredible Pedal IPA from the Denver Beer Co.
Dark Chocolate was a good bit sweeter with just a hint of bitter dark chocolate. This flavor was the perfect topping for my bedtime greek yogurt.
Peppercorn was the most savory of the bunch. You can see the peppercorn on the seeds and the flavor was great. This one was also excellent with beer.
I really enjoyed Erin Baker’s Blue Bike Sprouted Snacks. If you’re looking for a snack to replace processed or fried stuff I definitely recommend you try a bag out. Five-ounce bags and 10-pound bulk supplies are available directly from Erin Baker’s.
