Because since day one we’ve been challenging ourselves, always focusing on the positive impact we can make. After 100 years this is still our goal today. And that’s why we’re challenging you to ride 100 kilometers between March 20th and 29th.

For The SHIMANO Happy One Hundred you decide if you ride road, gravel or off road. As long as you share the road or the trail and enjoy your time outside, respecting local regulations of course. Besides receiving the unique digital Happy One Hundred badge for your Strava trophy case, you’ll have the chance to win a top-of-the-range SHIMANO shoe and pedal combo. So make sure to register for this challenge and share your Happy One Hundred. While you’re at it you can join our Strava club as well so we can ride ‘together’ even more.
The Happy One Hundred awards:
ROAD: a pair of S-PHYRE road shoes and Dura-Ace SPD-SL pedals
GRAVEL: a pair of RX800 gravel shoes and XTR SPD pedals
MTB: A pair of S-PHYRE MTB shoes and XTR SPD pedals

The Challenge starts and ends based on each athlete’s local time zone.
All activities logged during the Challenge period must be uploaded to Strava no later than three days after the Challenge ends.
We expect all athletes to honor the Strava Community Standards, which includes abiding by all health advisements and restrictions in your area prior to undertaking any physical activity.
If you are located in an area that does not allow outdoor activity, you may not participate except by means of virtual or indoor activity (i.e., Trainer rides, Zwift, etc.). Please see our blog with information about exercising during a pandemic.
GPS, virtual rides and manual activities will count towards the Challenge goal. For more information about virtual activities, to learn more about Strava Challenges and Virtual Races, please visit Strava’s Support Center.
Activities visible to “Everyone,” “Only You” or “Followers” are eligible for this challenge. Any qualifying activity, whether private or not, will count towards your private progress, badges, and rewards for this challenge. To respect activity visibility settings, only activities marked as visible to Everyone will be applied toward leaderboard rankings. Manual activities will not count towards your leaderboard ranking. Your followers may see notifications that you’ve joined or completed this challenge, but your activities will remain private according to your Privacy Controls. Rules

SHIMANO may require you to provide certain information to validate your identity in order for you to collect a reward or prize they are offering in connection with your completion of the Challenge. Upon completion of the challenge, challenge finishers will receive an email containing a link to a page on the SHIMANO Happy One Hundred website. Users will be required to enter their details to receive SHIMANO’s email newsletter and to enter the competi-tion for the Challenge rewards (one of three shoes and pedal combinations). After subscribing, a participant can unsubscribe at any time, and receive no further communication from SHIMANO, yet retain the validity of their reward.
