State Bicycle Co. Made Some Really Big Bikes for the Phoenix Suns

State Bicycle Co. is known for doing fun collaborations with its bikes. After setting up Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker with a bike earlier in 2018, Booker decided to give every member of the team a custom bike for Christmas. State Bicycle Co. co-founders Medhi and Reza Farsi took their standard 6061 Black Label bike and added some custom touches.

First off, every bike got front and rear brakes and internal cable routing was added for the rear brake. Wide MTB bars were added to better accommodate the giant riders as well.

State says its standard XL 62cm frame worked for some of the players but they had to create a special XXL 66cm frame for some of the taller players. Each bike was customized with the individual player’s name and number.
