Shimano Drops New DEORE M6100, M5100, and M4100 Components
Shimano Deore on Vancouver's North Shore, 2020

The Shimano Deore lineup has been the brands budget workhorse for years and the new and improved Deore is an impressive upgrade for the price point. The new groupset falls into three tiers, M6100 12-speed, M5100 11-speed, and M4100 10-speed. Here are some key details.

As per the usual for lower tier groupsets, the new Deore 12-speed features trickle-down tech from its higher-end siblings. Deore gets a wide-range 10-51t cassette, Hyperglide+ shifting, and a Micro Spline freehub design. Everything is available now.
