Maloja Persicm. Bib Review

Maloja Persicm. Bib Review

Maloja’s Persicm. Bib short builds on the compression muscle stabilization I enjoyed in their PushbikersM. SQlab Bib a couple years ago.

The Persicm. Bib is constructed from Maloja’s Bike Stretch HC ECO material, the most technical Lycra in the Maloja collection. The shortcut HC stands for high compression. The combination of 65% Nylon and 35% Xtra Lycra® and the tight knitted structure provide a comfortable fit with plenty of muscle compression. A further feature of Bike Stretch HC ECO is the use of Econyl®, a Nylon fibre, which consists of 100% recycled material. Bike Stretch HC ECO is not only functional but also sustainable.

During long, sweaty rides, the bib shorts hold on tight and with the help of a very wide and comfortable siliconized cuff don’t wander up your leg. Where the saddle meets the tush, Maloja’s Manner S.A.T. chamois keeps things comfortable. The seamless chamois manages a lot of comfort without feeling like a diaper and the integrated shock absorption helped neutralize vibrations over rough roads. Finally the Polygiene odor control finish helps keep the shorts fresh over extended periods.

Maloja’s Persicm. Bib is a high end short perfect for long road, all-road or gravel rides. I raced them at Gravel Nation and they served me well, zero chaffing, zero discomfort and zero wandering up my leg as the day wore on. Having had a pair of Maloja’s shorts in my rotation for a few years now, I can also be sure these will still be going strong years from now.
