LOOK Drops an Ultra-Exclusive and Expensive Dirty Kanza Edition 765 Gravel RS
It doesn’t get more exclusive than eight. That’s the total number of new 765 Gravel RS Dirty Kanza Edition bike that LOOK is making.
LOOK set out to make a bike fitting of the Dirty Kanza and all of it’s 200 mile of grueling terrain by building up its 765 Gravel RS frame with new SRAM Force eTAP AXS wide gearing. That gives the bike a 43/30T crankset up front and a 10-36T cassette in the back which is plenty of spread for grinding up endless hills after 9 hours in the sun. Also useful for long days on the gravel are the 765 Gravel RS’s four water bottle locations.
To keep things light, fast and fairly comfy the Kanza Edition is specced with G30.5 gravel wheels built up with Goodyear Connector tires. The build also features LOOK X-Track Race Carbon pedals which have nearly twice the contact area of most SPD pedals.
Exclusivity and a top notch build don’t come cheap. The bike will retail for $8,000 and is only available through LOOK and/or Corima dealers in the US on a first come first served basis. The price is a little less painful when you consider that each bike purchase comes with a chance to race next year’s Dirty Kanza. All eight purchasers will be entered into a drawing after registering the bike with LOOK, and two will win. Winners will be chosen July 6.
