Caleb Ewan's Brutal Uphill Sprint Finish at UAE Tour
Caleb Ewan took his first WorldTour win today after he was relegated at the Tour Down Under.
Exciting finish at the UAE Tour today, as Caleb Ewan powered to a win in an ‘all or nothing’ sprint as he took his first WorldTour stage victory of 2019. The Australian powered past rivals on his way to the top of the Hatta Dam climb which averages a whopping 17 percent incline. The climb looked absolutely brutal.
The race continues with a sprint stage tomorrow, followed by the queen stage (20km climb of Jebel Jais) where the UAE Tour will likely be decided.
