Bulleit Frontier Whiskey Expands Portfolio with New American Single Malt, Embracing Innovation and Sustainability

Bulleit Frontier Whiskey recently declared its foray into the burgeoning American Single Malt whiskey segment with a new product launch. This whiskey is crafted exclusively from malted barley and joins the permanent range of Bulleit's offerings.

The company's senior vice president, Jesse Damashek, emphasized in a press release that Bulleit American Single Malt exemplifies the brand's commitment to innovative practices and sustainable methods. This new venture is anticipated to significantly impact the whiskey market.

At 90 proof, the Bulleit American Single Malt is priced at $59.99 for a 750-milliliter bottle. It's widely available across the United States, including at the Bulleit visitor center in Shelbyville, Kentucky.

The flavor profile of this American Single Malt is described as a blend of vanilla and toasted oak aromas, with a palate rich in fruit flavors, and a smooth finish that features hints of caramel and cocoa.

In line with its dedication to environmental responsibility, Bulleit packages this single malt whiskey in a green bottle made from recycled glass.

Damashek noted that the whiskey not only introduces a unique flavor to the brand's range but also marks a step towards sustainable practices with its use of post-consumer recycled glass. The product is expected to be a hit among whiskey enthusiasts nationwide.

The American single malt category, while not officially recognized by the TTB (Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau) yet, is generally defined as a whiskey produced from 100% malted barley, distilled at a single distillery, and fully processed in the U.S. It must be aged in oak casks of up to 700 liters, distilled to a maximum of 160 proof, and bottled at a minimum of 80 proof.
