Alchemy Introduces the Redesigned Atlas Family of Road Bikes

DENVER, CO, May 25, 2021 — Alchemy Bicycles, known for their custom direct-to-rider carbon and titanium bikes, is proud to launch their redesigned family of Atlas road bikes for 2021. Customers can now choose between carbon or titanium, road or all-road, and stock or custom geometry for the most personalized rider experience.

Inspired by the foothills of Colorado, all members of the Atlas family will deftly transition from climbs to sweeping descents for a smooth, stable, luxurious ride on or off the road.

Carbon Atlas

The carbon Atlas, Alchemy’s flagship high-performance road bike, has a freshly modernized design while the overall experience of the bike remains intact. Building off technology advancements in recent years, the new model is faster, more aerodynamic, and more comfortable. The bottom bracket shell has been fortified to make the junction more stiff and responsive. The downtube has also been shaped for a livelier feel out of the saddle, as well as a more aerodynamic profile. A 27.2mm seat post will keep the rider comfortable on those extended adventures.

Utilizing tube-to-tube carbon construction makes it easy to interchange the seat stays for clearance of 38mm tires. Paired with a new all-road fork, it yields a very capable and vibrant go-anywhere machine. Alchemy’s award-winning carbon construction ensures that every Atlas will have the perfect blend of speed, agility and uncompromised performance; hand-built out of Colorado.

Titanium Atlas

The hand-made titanium variants of the Atlas also give the option of an all-road or road geometry. They feature a 1.5” tapered head tube, a threaded bottom bracket shell, cold-formed tubes shaped in-house, hooded dropouts and internally routed brake hoses. Alchemy’s proprietary titanium construction, precise welds and a 31.6mm seat post provide a ride quality that is unrivaled in today’s titanium road bike landscape.

“Launching the new Atlas family allowed us to commit even further to the ‘direct-to-rider’ experience. In addition to materials and tire clearance options, we offer a variety of paint, geometry and group-set choices. This gives the rider up to 16 possible custom outcomes. You will be getting a truly unique bike, unlike any other road bike out there,” said Alchemy founder, Ryan Cazzinaro. Alchemy plans to mimic this array of choices for other RAG (road, all-road, gravel) bike families in the future.

Customization

Eight unique semi-custom color selections are being offered as well as matte and clear finish options included in the price of the stock frameset. Their most popular option for the carbon variant is a clear coat of paint, allowing the artfully constructed carbon layups to shine through. The Alchemy script logo will compliment the modern geometric design with an optional addition of the metal headtube badge. Fully customizable paint remains available to those who want to express their personality through their bike.

For those who desire a tailored fit, Alchemy continues to offer customized geometry.  The cost for customization is $1000 and includes a Retul fitting with founder, Cazzinaro. Build sets include Shimano Ultegra Di2, Shimano Dura-Ace Di2, SRAM Force AXS or SRAM Red AXS.
