Alchemy Celebrates 10 Years with a Very Special Helios Road Bike

Back when Alchemy was a new bike brand their Arion aero road bike sat at the top of my dream bike list. Unfortunately, they don’t make that model anymore but the Helios frame that has taken over as their flagship model is no chump. As such, it’s that bike that will carry the honors of celebrating Alchemy’s 10th anniversary with a halo custom build and paint job.

If you’ve got the cash, you’ll be rewarded with  a beautifully painted frame with paint matched high end parts from SRM, Ceramic Speed and ENVE. The “base” build ($16,000) gets an individual frame number  in carbon fiber under the tinted clear coat and comes with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 R9150 with hydraulic disc brakes. There are options beyond there.

You can add a 14-karat gold head badge (+$3,000) to match the downtube logo and other accents. Or for the more practical enthusiast, a custom tinted/painted SRM power meter crankset is an option (+$2,500).

The base price for the bike does include a custom-made bike case from San Diego based Eliel Cycling so it’s basically a deal if you think about it. Each one is custom made with your geometry. Hand built here in Denver, CO.
