First Look: 3T's New Primo2 WPNT Gravel Bike

Nearly a decade after the original Exploro pioneered the aero-gravel segment, Italian innovator 3T has announced the next chapter in its storied lineage: the Primo2 WPNT. This new model represents a significant evolution, blending the proven performance DNA of its predecessor with a host of modern technical updates and a bold new design language for the brand. The Primo2 WPNT is positioned as a versatile, high-performance gateway for gravel enthusiasts looking to enter the 3T ecosystem at an accessible price point.

While preserving the celebrated geometry and ride feel of the Exploro and Primo, the new frameset introduces key refinements for today's gravel rider. The front end has been raised by 1.5 cm to create a slightly more relaxed riding position and to accommodate full cable integration. Using 3T’s Semi-Integrale technology, the Primo2 WPNT achieves a clean aesthetic with internal routing while maintaining full compatibility with any groupset, including 1x and 2x mechanical or electronic drivetrains. In a critical update for future-proofing and serviceability, the frame now features the SRAM Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) standard. True to its versatile roots, the bike is optimized for tires measuring between 35-45 mm wide (WAM), making it a capable all-rounder for any terrain.

The launch of the Primo2 WPNT also serves as the debut for 3T’s significant brand refresh. The bike showcases a restyled 3T logo, rendered in negative space through a color gradient that subtly pays homage to the brand's iconic red box of the past decade. The "WPNT" designation stands for "We Paint," a nod to 3T's in-house painting facility in Presezzo, Italy, where the four distinctive new colors—Gesso (White), Fumo (Smoke), Salvia (Sage), and Orchidea (Orchid)—are applied. This launch signifies a new, "frame-free and bold" era for 3T, with an aesthetic that is as forward-thinking as its engineering.

The 3T Primo2 WPNT is available immediately as both a frameset and in several complete build configurations, ensuring a variety of options for riders ready to experience the brand's next evolution.
