Zwift Finally Has Its "Spotify Wrapped" Moment
Zwift celebrates its 10th anniversary with "Spinback," a personalized data deep-dive into your riding history. Here’s why the community stats—and the potential for an annual recap—matter.
It’s surprisingly overdue, but Zwift has finally taken a page out of the Strava and Spotify playbooks with the launch of "Spinback." Released to celebrate their 10th anniversary, this email-based recap categorizes your career history into one of four profiles (like "Fitness Fiend" or "World Explorer") and calculates total output in metrics ranging from elevation climbed to pizza slices burned. As someone who works in data science by day, I’m usually skeptical of gamified vanity metrics, but seeing the sheer scale of the community data is admittedly compelling. Collectively, we've ridden over 9 billion kilometers—enough to travel to the moon and back nearly 12,000 times.
Here's my Spinback:
I hope this sticks. While the hardware and graphics get all the attention, it’s the data that often keeps me turning the pedals during the lonely winter months. To see your's just open the Zwift Companion app on your phone.
The Community Numbers

- Energy Output: 564,406,976 pizza slices (enough to power the ISS for 237 years).
