You Can Ride with Geraint Thomas as Rides on Zwift for 36 hours
2018 Tour de France champion, Geraint Thomas, will be pedaling on Zwift for three, 12-hour rides, as part of a fundraiser for NHS Charities Together. The organization supports NHS staff and volunteers who are caring for COVID-19 patients.
Why 12-hours? Thomas wants to simulate the long shifts which healthcare workers face. So Thomas will ride for 12 hours, rest for 12 hours and repeat for three consecutive days, for a total of 36 hours of indoor riding.
Thomas will begin Zwifting at 7:30 AM GMT, on Wednesday, April 15th, and continue through Friday, April 17th at 7:30 pm GMT. Be sure to hop on and share messages of support and look for guest appearances by Thomas’ teammates and other pros.
You can signup on Zwift to ride two-hour blocks with him, register on the Zwift web site.
