Winter Bikepacking in Canada in December!

I got frostbite watching this.

In December 2022 a group of us went on an overnight bikepacking trip to Elk Island National Park in Alberta, Canada. We experienced freezing temperatures, long hikes through knee deep snow, and cold headwinds in the dark.
Winter should not be a time you spend only indoors. Get out and enjoy it! With the proper preparation, you can have a great time experiencing Canada in the wintertime!
