Flanders is famous for many things: tales of hard men and legendary riders in ‘De Ronde’ battling the elements by bike, fearsome stories of the legendary cobbled ‘muurs’ that break riders, or, further back in history the fields of Flanders provided a grim backdrop to the devastation of WW1. Flanders is awash with stories and for this reason it was an ideal playground for an alternative gravel exploration for Live Slow Ride Fast podcasters Laurens Ten Dam and Stefan Bolt, plus gravel event organizer Paul Errington.
