Josh Berry won the epic Ruta del Jefe race this year. In this video from Giant Bicycles, he explains his move to alternative racing.

Initially finding cycling as an escape from everyday life, after a 10-year professional road racing career, Josh Berry found himself again in search of something new to fuel his passion for riding. After years of taking his race bike off-road to make the hours of training more interesting, with his road race career behind him, Josh saw an opportunity to try his hand at the then emerging segment of gravel racing.

Now a member of the Giant Factory Off-Road Team, Josh embodies the alternative racing spirit, with a mix of equal parts talent on the bike and desire for new and inspiring experiences.
