The Zwift Esports Series is Here

The new KISS Super League will kick off in London tomorrow night (1/23/19) with 15 Pro Continental and Continental men’s teams joining the racing.

What is KISS (the name is rather unspecific)? It is an Esports/eRacing league, hosted on the Zwift online cycling platform. The KISS league will feature 10 races, teams of four will race against each other each week accumulating  points toward the championship.

If you’ve ridden on Zwift, you know that apparently,  75%+ of its riders have Froome-esque  power to weight ratios. Because people cheat by using hacked power meters or by changing their weight in the app.  To curb cheating KISS requires all riders to use heart rate monitors and provided power meters, weigh-ins appear to be coming soon.

Tomorrow’s event will be streamed live on Facebook, starting at 7 pm GMT. The 40.2km race will take place on  Zwift’s Watopia Volcano Climb After Party circuit.

The 15 teams that will race the Zwift KISS series:
