Specialized to Pay $700k for Roubaix Trademark
Don’t want to say I called it, but…. called it.
Bankruptcy proceedings are for ASE (parent company of Fuji Bicycles and Performance Bike) are moving forward and one company asset offloaded so far? The trademark for “Roubaix.” Specialized has been licensing the name from ASE since 2003, no longer, though, as Specialized has agreed to purchase the trademark outright for $700k. The sale isn’t final, yet. A judge will decide on January 22 if the agreement can be accepted.
