Profile Design's Zwift Ride Aerobar Keeps You Tucked While You Shift
Profile Design's $275 Zwift Ride Supersonic Aerobar puts Click controls at your fingertips in the aero position. Here's who it's for and who should skip it.
Profile Design's new Zwift Ride Supersonic Aerobar ($275) solves the most annoying problem with indoor TT training: you can't stay aero and control Zwift at the same time. The system includes a slimmer tray that replaces the stock Zwift Ride front end, ski-bend extensions with adjustable armrests, and integrated mounts for the Zwift Click controllers right at your fingertips. Shift, steer, navigate—all without sitting up. For triathletes logging winter base miles or TT riders trying to accumulate time in position, that's the difference between productive training and a compromise.

The fit adjustability looks solid: extension length and Ergo+ armrest pads can be dialed to approximate your outdoor position, though how close you'll actually get depends on how much your road setup differs from what Zwift Ride's geometry allows. At $275 on top of a $1,300 smart bike, this pushes the total investment past what some riders will stomach for a platform they might outgrow. Pre-orders are open now. If you're racing 70.3s or full-distance events and your indoor setup currently forces you out of position every time you need to interact with the screen, this is the first purpose-built fix—just know it only works for Zwift Ride owners, not other smart bikes or traditional trainer setups.
