An epic video from Phil Gaimon and I share his concerns. Why does the cyclist always get blamed? There are more cars on the road, everyone’s using a cellphone, everyone’s driving their 2-ton pickup like it’s a race car and there’s a total lack of infrastructure and protected bike lanes. I see constant speeding, driving while texting, ignoring of pedestrian and cyclist’s right of way, passing too close or dangerously or just plain raging because a cyclist cost them 1.2 seconds on their 10 minute drive. It’s no surprise that gravel cycling continues to grow.
