North St. Bags x Bicyclecrumbs Collaboration
Presented by Bicyclecrumbs (Portland-based illustrator, designer, and cyclist) and built by North St. Bags. (Portland shop stitching bags to-order for every adventure) are dropping two limited-edition bag collaborations for pre-order starting this afternoon.
“Why does all of cycling think that Hi-Vis has to be neon yellow?” This first collaboration began with this question from Richard Pool, the man behind Bicyclecrumbs. It’s an experiment of what Hi-Vis can be, using an unexpected and unique rainbow sequin fabric that’s sure to cut through the noise of daily rides and daily life in general with something visually pleasing and even a little sparkly. The result is the galaxy’s first rainbow flip-flop hip pack and zipper pouch. North St.’s Pioneer 12 hip pack and Medium Pittock Travel Pouch received the rainbow flip-flop sequin treatment and are available for pre-order here starting this afternoon through 9/26.
The North St. team had so much working with Bicyclecrumbs on the sequin project that they asked Richard to collaborate on the next print in their rotating series for custom bag builds. They landed on this colorful and unique Signature spiral print which will be available for pre-ordered on custom Davis Daypack, Pittock Travel Pouch, Micro Pannier, and Pioneer 12 hip pack builds. The print fabric is made from 1000d Cordura and cotton Dogwood Denim, the same great design as the previous North St. LTD prints, but with the Bicyclecrumbs flavor. Pre-orders for custom bags featuring this fabric will also be available here starting this afternoon through 9/26.
