Netflix enlisted the help of Mongoose to source period correct bikes and parts for the actual bikes used in filming season three of Stranger Things. From there, Mongoose took the period correct bikes they put together to inspire a replica model of Maxine ‘Max’ Mayfield’s bike. This bike is very similar to a Mongoose BMX bike from the 1980’s, right down to the plastic seat and 5 spoke mag wheels. You’ll have a chance to own one starting on June 30th. Max bikes will be available at Target for $219.99.
