Born four months and only about 40km apart, Van der Poel and Van Aert are both on track to become among the greatest cyclists the sport has ever seen. At their best, nobody can compete with either Van der Poel or Van Aert, in fact, for almost a decade they’ve simply swapped the cyclocross rainbow jersey amongst themselves.
