UNBOUND Gravel Goes Live & Free! How to Watch the 2025 Epic
Life Time announces free, live YouTube coverage for the 2025 UNBOUND Gravel 200-mile race. Catch all the elite men's and women's action from Emporia!

Huge news for cycling enthusiasts around the globe! Life Time just dropped a major announcement yesterday: for the very first time, the legendary 200-mile Life Time UNBOUND Gravel presented by Shimano will be broadcast live and completely free to view. This is a game-changer for fans wanting to follow "the world’s premier gravel event" as the action unfolds.
Mark your calendars, because on race day, you can tune into the official Life Time Grand Prix YouTube channel for nearly seven hours of coverage. The broadcast kicks off at 10:00 am CT with a pre-show to get you up to speed, before diving into uninterrupted live coverage of both the elite men’s and women’s races. You'll be able to follow the drama all the way through to the finishes and hear directly from the athletes in post-race interviews.
Bringing this epic race to your screens will be a stellar lineup of cycling personalities. In the commentary box, you'll have Life Time Grand Prix athlete Payson McElveen (sidelined by injury but bringing his expert insights), US cycling legend Meredith Miller, and seasoned announcer Bill Elliston. Out on the punishing Kansas course, Mountain Bike Hall of Famer Nat Ross and former pro Lauren Hall will be providing live updates. And if you miss any of it, don't worry – extended highlights will hit the same YouTube channel within days of the event.
Kimo Seymour, Life Time’s Senior Vice President of Media & Events, shared his enthusiasm, stating, "At Life Time, we’re focused on elevating the sport of cycling at every level, and bringing live, free-to-stream coverage of the Life Time UNBOUND Gravel presented by Shimano is a major step in that journey. With real-time storytelling, expert commentary, and a global audience tuning in, we are committed to making this iconic race more accessible and engaging.”
The racing itself is shaping up to be absolutely captivating. While Keegan Swenson and Sofía Gómez Villafañe showed their formidable form at the Life Time Sea Otter Classic Gravel, UNBOUND is a different beast. Rosa Klöser is set to defend her 2024 women's title, and the men's race will see a new champion crowned as last year's winner, Lachlan Morton, opts for the XL distance. Adding to the international flair, Thomas De Gendt, a stage winner in all three Grand Tours, will be taking on the Flint Hills for the first time.
UNBOUND will also be the thrilling culmination of the Wild Card competition. This new 2025 initiative gives aspiring athletes a shot at the Life Time Grand Prix leaderboard. Originally offering three spots for men and three for women, an extra men's spot has opened up due to Howard Grotts' withdrawal as he recovers from an injury.
This move to free live coverage is a fantastic step for gravel cycling, making one of its most iconic events accessible to fans everywhere. Get ready for a historic day of racing!
