Idolised by generations of travellers, Thailand needs little introduction. For many, “the land of smiles'' is synonymous with tropical beaches, bustling cities and full-moon parties. However, away from the tourist trappings the mountains of Northern Thailand are emerging as one of bikepackings best kept secrets.
In 2019, en-route to the UK as part of our world bike tour, we cycled into Thailand and fell in love. Captivated by the beautiful people, the incredible food, the remote trails and traditional villages, we were blown away by the country's bikepacking potential. So in 2022, we returned to Thailand in a bid to share the country's magic with the world.
