ENVE Introduces New Ride-Lifestyle Apparel Collection

ENVE Composites, best known for their premium wheels, frames, and components, is expanding their product offering to include apparel for the cyclist’s active lifestyle. The all-new collection was ideated and designed from the ground up to deliver comfort and performance for the time between rides. ENVE’s Ride-Lifestyle collection features over a dozen new styles for both men and women and is available now on ENVE.com.

ENVE’s entrance into lifestyle apparel may come as a surprise given the brands reputation for developing products that push the performance envelope, but ENVE is clear that their vision for soft goods and apparel has a long-term outlook that extends beyond off-the-bike focused clothing.

“Even the most dedicated riders spend most of their time off the bike living life, recovering, traveling and in pursuit of their next ride. With no shortage of technical on-bike riding apparel available in the aftermarket, we set our sights on creating the clothing we want to live in,” stated Jake Pantone, VP of Product and Brand.

While lifestyle is how ENVE is categorizing this apparel line, each piece includes a subtle nod to on-bike capabilities. For example, their new short and pant feature lightweight four-way stretch fabric, zippered side-pockets for securing valuables, and subtle reflective elements for quick commutes or rides around town. Additionally, technical fabrics such as the Merino/Tencel™ blend used for the long and short sleeve tees, provides breathability, moisture wicking, and quick drying capabilities.

A standout piece securely on the lifestyle end of the spectrum is a stylish women’s poncho that utilizes lightweight ripstop and PrimaLoft™ insulation to provide a fashionable insulator for cool shoulder season outings, and privacy for changing  in or out of kit when the need arises.

“We are taking the same approach to apparel as we have with our wheels and components by making the products we want to wear and taking no shortcuts. Each piece is purpose-built, and the materials and construction techniques have been selected to deliver on our promise of function-first utility,” stated product manager Ken Bloomer.

The Ride-Lifestyle collection will carry a one-year factory warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship. ENVE’s apparel line is shipping today and available exclusively on ENVE.com or through select premium ENVE Ride Center retailers.
