Easton’s New EA70 AX Dropper Post is Built for Gravel Bikes
If you take your gravel bike onto singletrack, a dropper post can be a massive asset for shredding dirt quickly and safely. But there aren’t many gravel-specific droppers out there.
As I recently learned looking for a 27.2mm clamp diameter dropper for my retro Litespeed XC bike build, the options are limited and the lengths that are available tend to the shorter side. Add to that, the best option, Thomson’s 27.2mm dropper, comes in at a gut wrenching $480 price point.
Easton appears to have a solution. The EA70 AX dropper retails for $184.99 and offers 50mm of drop in both 350mm and 400mm lengths in a 27.2mm clamp diameter. Nice!
