Detroit Bikes Sparrow is a 22-pound Singlespeed for $399
Detroit Bikes, based in Detroit Michigan, is known for its reasonably priced city bikes. Sticking to the theme, the company just announced that their new 2019 Sparrow single speed bike is the lightest in its class, weighing just 22 pounds for the complete build.
The Sparrow’s $399 price tag gets you an aluminum frame and fork, an SDG Duster saddle, a KMC chain and WTB ThickSlick tires. The Sparrow is available in four sizes (small, medium, large, XL), and in four color schemes. The bike ships 95% assembled, and only takes five minutes to get rolling.
The Sparrow is available for pre-order now, and will start shipping in April. All bikes include free shipping, a free floor pump and a 30-day return policy.
