Explore the overlooked beauty of northeast Utah and southwest Wyoming with this scenic route that showcases diverse landscapes. Designed by Kyle Aldridge and Jake Bleggi, it’s an homage to their time in the region. Beginning at Dutch John, Utah’s fly shops, the journey loops around Flaming Gorge Reservoir, starting with stunning lake views on US HWY 181. Venturing into historic Browns Park, the route continues on Three Corners Road, with minimal pavement for 142 miles.

Traverse red rolling hills reminiscent of western movies, finding primitive camp spots on BLM land until reaching the resupply town of Green River, Wyoming. Surprisingly, the barren sagebrush flats become a highlight, offering encounters with wild horses and remnants of early settlements. Return to Utah and enjoy cozy lodging and delicious food in the small town of Manila, with Brownings as a recommended option.

The final stretch leads to Sheep Creek Geological Loop, famous for striking rock formations. Ascend through high pines in the Uintas, passing picturesque mountain brooks and streams, with primitive and established campgrounds available. The route concludes with a breathtaking overlook and a challenging 6-mile section of single track. Embark on this journey to witness the hidden beauty of the region.
