A bikepacking adventure that explores the mountainous heart of the Sultanate of Oman. Leaving Muscat, the capital city, Alba and Ricard embark on a 1000 km journey that will take them through deep gorges and unusual mountains that rise between the sea and the desert. As they progress, they realize the great physical challenge of cycling through these massive Rocky Mountains where water is scarce and the steep climbs exceed more than one digit. At the same time, they enjoy the great privilege of being able to experience first hand the warmth and hospitality of an ancestral culture, which between dates and spicy coffees will end up turning this great adventure into an emotional journey.
