Wahoo just updated its KICKR to version 5, here is what’s new.

WAHOO KICKR V5

With the new Wahoo KICKR (v5) you will get a set of Wahoo Axis Action Feet, they can also be purchased separately for earlier models. The Axis Action Feet provide some degree of lateral movement while training via 3 levels of selectable natural movement; easy, medium and hard.

Additionally, version 5 has improved accuracy from the previous +/- 2% to a just +/- 1%.

THE WAHOO AXIS FOOT PADS

The Axis Foot pads are backwards compatible with previous Wahoo KICKR models, work with the Wahoo KICKR Climb and allow up to 5 degrees of lateral movement.

This means that natural side to side rock associated with outdoor cycling is now available indoors on a KICKR. This is a real relief on long indoor rides and helps reduce strain on your bike as well.
