If you’re in the market for a new sedan and want to stretch every dollar, the Mazda 6 is hard to overlook. For 2018 Mazda updated the looks of the 6 and added a new turbo four-cylinder to the line up, available in the Grand Touring trim. The new turbo power-train offers up 310 lb-ft of torque at just 2,000 RPM. Previously, the Grand Touring trim was top of the line for the Mazda 6, but there’s a new upmarket trim to be had for 2018.
If you demand the best, a new fully-loaded Trim Level the Mazda 6 Signature can be had for $35,640. The new trim packs in Nappa leather, Japanese sen-wood cabin accents, 7.0-inch TFT gauge display, parking sensors, ventilated seats and a slew of other creature comforts.
At the other end of the spectrum sits the base Mazda 6 with its six-speed manual and 2.5-liter inline-four engine a well appointed and fun option for just under $23k. It’s worth noting that the non-turbo engine is down on power with only 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque.
