Volvo has finally taken the wraps off the 2019 Volvo V60, and boy does it look good. Volvo is synonymous with practical transportation, but it in recent years has introduced some very sleek designs and performance to its lineup. The new version of the V60 wagon carries over a lot of what made the larger V90 wagon stand out two years ago.
The V60, introduced to the US in 2014, remains a niche vehicle for North America despite its popularity across Europe.
In the US, the V60 will launch as a front-wheel drive version with 250 horsepower or an all-wheel drive version with 316 horsepower. Elsewhere, the V60 will also be offered as a 390-horsepower plug-in hybrid or a new plug-in hybrid variant with 340 horsepower. Hopefully the hybrid power-plants will make their way to the US at some point in the near future. Volvo has pledged to electrify all of its cars by 2019 after-all.
The V60 will also be available in the US with the Care by Volvo subscription payment plan that launched last year with the small XC40 SUV. Care by Volvo covers everything besides fuel under one monthly payment, and customers can choose to swap into a new Volvo in as little as 12 months.
Looks like it’s time to start watching for discounts on 2018 V60s!
