The Belgian Waffle Ride is Back for 2021 with Four Events

The Belgian Waffle Ride series of gravel events is back for 2021, and this year there will be four events.

The Belgian Waffle Ride series is back for 2021 and registration for all events is now open. Entries for riders signed up for the 2020 BWR events have been deferred to the 2021 editions. Head to belgianwaffleride.bike to enter.

The first three events, San Diego, Asheville and Cedar City, comprise the Tripel Crown of Gravel Series:

The first event in San Diego, the Canyon BWR, has been changed a bit in its 10th edition. The 135-mile course has been altered with new off-road features and there is a new venue which can accommodate a mile-long finishing circuit.

The second event, BWR Asheville in North Carolina, is the longest event at 144 miles with 12,000 feet of climbing.

The third event, in Cedar City, Utah, is 80% off-road making it the truest gravel event of the bunch. The 128-mile course is at elevation in Southern Utah.

The fourth and final BWR event, in Lawrence, Kansas, is a 111-mile route with 8,000 feet of climbing, there are off-road and singletrack sections included on course.
