Paris-Nice Announces 2019 Route, with Exciting New Climb

The route of the 2019 Paris-Nice race was unveiled today and the race taking place the 10th through 17th of March is less than 60 days away. The race has been a thriller the last few years, so what’s coming for 2019?

Paris-Nice will make its usual southeasterly trek beginning in Saint-Germain En Laye and ending in Nice. The second half of the race taking place in the mountains, highlighted by the category 1 Col de Turini, a new climb for the race that has been used three times in the Tour de France. Great timing by Col Collective on that one.

There’s a fair chance the entire race will be decided on Turini, which is 15km long and averages 7.3%. Shakeups are also likely mid-week during the 25km time trial.
