New London Zwift Routes Incoming

A few weeks back, Zwift CEO Eric Min posted a ride to Strava which included two new sections of new roads for the London course.

New London Zwift Routes Incoming 4

The new roads consist of a 1.9 miles section north of Box Hill, and a 6.5 miles climbing section south of Box Hill. That’s a big expansion to the currently available London roads.

Along with the new roads, are three new London routes in the new version 1.0.22839 (released for iOS today and coming soon to macOS and Windows).

The three routes are:

Surrey Hills
25.4 mi 2919 ft

Greatest London Loop
16.1 mi 1172 ft

Triple Loops
25.4 mi 1848 ft

The southern section will be the biggest climb on the London course, with 796-feet of elevation gain over 3.7 miles for an average gradient of 4%. The backside of the climb is 2.8 miles long with a -4.9% grade. This new climb is Zwift’s version of Surrey’s famous Leith Hill.

Looks like I might finally have a reason to ride in London again.
