Mission Workshop's Rhake  Gets Ultralight VX Fabric

Mission Workshop makes some of the most well-thought-out bags in the industry. But along with plenty  of hidden buckles, pockets, and straps, comes added weight. Especially if you’re bringing a camera and/or laptop along for the ride. To cut weight,  Mission Workshop has been re-building some of its bags out of VX material which sheds some of the weight. The newest bag to get the VX treatment is the RHAKE.

It’s a well-built bag that pairs nicely with  The Capsule camera insert.

The Rhake : VX is built to hold everything you need for work, play, and the occasional overnight. Purpose-built pockets designed for your laptop computer, iPad, phone, chargers, keys, sunglasses, and water bottle.

In addition, the weatherproof 22-liter main roll-top compartment can grow or shrink as needed to hold gear and clothing.

Like all Mission Workshop backpacks, The Rhake : VX is built with two-layer weatherproof construction to keep your gear safe and dry. For added versatility and customization, the shoulder straps are equipped with two Arkiv rails for attaching small accessories, such as weatherproof cell phone pouches which can be found in the Add an Accessory slider above.

The Rhake : VX takes the original Rhake design to the next level by incorporating VX-21 diamond ripstop fabric. VX-21 is one of the most advanced textiles in the world with virtually unmatched abrasion, tear, and weather resistance per gram weight.

The Rhake : VX is also equipped with Fidlock ® magnetic buckles allowing for one-handed operation, increasing convenience while maintaining strength.

Made by hand in small batches in the USA.
