Zwift New York Cycling Routes with Route Maps and Descriptions

Zwift’s New York world has a number of routes you can choose from. You choose your route by clicking the Routes button at the Drop In screen, or you can manually pick your route by choosing a direction when an intersection comes up. Some routes include a lead-in distance that doesn’t count towards the route achievement. This lead-in is indicated in blue – while the actual route appears in white. Each route includes an animates map along with the route name, distance, elevation gain and any pertinent notes.

Route Details

Route Name:  Astoria Line 8

Distance:  11.5 km (7.2 mi)

Elevation Gain: 141 m (464 ft)

Notes:  Named for the first NYC subway
line, take a figure 8 path around the park.

Route Name:  Everything Bagel

Distance:  34.4 km (21.4 mi)

 Elevation Gain:  545 m (1789 ft)

Notes:  Hit the Sprint and KOM in both directions
on this long, looping route.

Route Name:  Grand Central Circuit

Distance:  6.8 km (4.2 mi)

Elevation Gain:  144 km (472 ft)

Notes:  Circuit course that takes the steep route
up and down the KOM  with a short loop
around the Spring in between.

Route Name:  Knickerbocker

Distance:  22.5 km (14 mi)

Elevation Gain:  365 m (1197 ft)

Notes:  This mostly flat route has some
grit in it with one trip up the KOM via the steep route

Route Name:  Lady Liberty

Distance:  12.3 km (7.7 mi)

Elevation Gain:  206 m (675 ft)

Notes:  A steep climb up to the KOM
before a long lap around the park.

Route Name:  Mighty Metropolitan

Distance:  20.0 km (12.5 mi)

Elevation Gain:  318 m (1044 ft)

Notes:  Traverse most of the park and
elevated roads in a meandering loop

Route Name:  Park Perimeter Loop

Distance:  9.7 km (6.1 mi)

Elevation Gain:  125 m (411 ft)

Notes:  The outermost loop of the park

Route Name:  Rising Empire

Distance:  20.7 km (12.9 mi)

Elevation Gain:  377 m (1235 ft)

Notes:  Hit the KOM  in both directions on
this climbers course

Route Name:  The 6 Train

Distance:  6.5 km (4.0 mi)

Elevation:  69 m (226 ft)

Notes:  The shortest route around the
park is flat and fast.

Route Name:  The Highline

Distance:  10.5 km (6.5 mi)

Elevation:  179 m (586 ft)

Notes:  Ride the elevated roads in the skies
above Central Park.
