Canyon Announces New Electronic Fitness Bike Roadlite:ON
The all-new Roadlite:ON expands Canyon’s fitness bike portfolio with an electronic assist model.

The Roadlite is the “definition of a high-performance fitness bike – combining control, comfort and precise engineering with Canyon’s inimitable, unmistakable design and performance.”

“Powered by the Fazua Evation drive system, the Roadlite:ON provides significant assistance, but assistance that always feels natural and unobtrusive as you pedal,” said a statement.

“The system’s low weight of only 4.6kg means the whole build tips the scales at a meagre 15kg, giving the bike agile, sharp handling – and giving the rider the stability and confidence to attack in high-speed sections.

“The stunning aluminium frame is a testament to Canyon’s signature design and precise engineering, and the bike features internal cable routing, a carbon fork and powerful flat-mount disc brakes. Rounding out the build is the wide-range one-by mountain bike drivetrain, comfort-enhancing VCLS Seatpost and Canyon-engineered CP04 one-piece cockpit.”

When released in Canyon’s model year 2020 range, the Roadlite:ON will be available in three variants – 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0.

Canyon has also announced that from today, 15th August, riders in Switzerland will be able to choose from the full Canyon product range. Previously, Canyon bikes were only available in Switzerland under the name ‘Pure Cycling’ due to trademark overlap issues with the Canyon.swiss brand, owned by Lizard Sport AG from Pieterlen, Bern.
