The upcoming BMW M5 Twin-Turbo V8 runs a modified S63 engine – the same beast-mode power-plant turning the wheels of the X5 M and X6 M – packed into the sedan’s racing inspired chassis.
The engine produces roughly 578 horsepower and 530 pound-feet of torque – more than enough to have a good time. The car’s been clocked at 4.4 seconds for the 0-60. The new flagship M5 is even lower and more sport-focused and comes sitting on 20-inch alloys. Also new for this model is an Active M rear differential with variable torque split.
I need to get my hands on one.
