Dixie is the largest national forest in Utah. Though nearly 170 miles across and filled with red canyons, alpine lakes and large aspen stands the park doesn’t get a lot of name recognition .

This short film is the newest from the  Your Forests Your Future initiative, a program from the US Forest Service meant to bring interest to lesser known public lands.

All 155 national forests will eventually get their very own mini-doc. For now, enjoy this incredible look at the terrain in southwest Utah. I’m ready to grab my bike and hit those gravel roads.
