2013 Scion FR-S

The Scion FR-S harkens back to an era where Japanese rear wheel drive cars handled just as well as Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s while being purposely underpowered to focus more on offering great weight distribution and the enjoyment of handling and tight cornering – truly fun drivers vehicles.  The FR-S, stands for Front-engine, Rear-wheel drive, Sport and the vehicle offers up exceptionally balanced performance and handling, great styling and some pretty surprising fuel efficiency numbers.  The FR-S is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, paddle shifters and Dynamic Rev Management technology.  The cars 2.0-liter four cylinder is the product of joint development between Toyota and Subaru and is good for 200 horsepower with an estimated 34 mpg on the highway.  The $24,200 price tag is reasonable too!
